This book is simple and easy to understand, he talks about how financial market works and how does a financial centre works. Identifying the financial intermediaries and their roles. There are clear examples on economics.

This book covers basically everything, every chapter teaches you to slowly discover the different layers you need to understand about the financial markets. From the very basic of about Financial capitals to the intermediaries, products and services and then what are the different kinds of bank services. How the central bank works and the different types of bonds.

life without church is pretty much the same to me. and out of church, i experience more. actually all along, i don't strongly believe about staying in church. but i still believe in God, just one and only God who created the whole earth.

what was it? i knew that somewhere, somehow, i got to go to a higher ground. and the people i meddled around in church aint getting me nowhere. yes i have personally know many "high post" or highly successful people in church, they could be my mentor and guide me to help me get higher in life, but at the end of the day, it is yourself, not the others. you made decisions yourself, you know where you will be best for you.

what have i seen in YOG? i've seen the best, the best of the future; the young Olympians. they are pretty much the same as me and u, having similar hobbies like LAN gaming and animes like NARUTO. but what makes them so different? - their mindset.

these young olympians have a strong focus and passion. and wouldnt be ready to be giving up for anything not achieved. they aim the best and try their best. what is losing to them? no losing at all, only win. losing is only to yourself, your own mind.

after YOG, i decided to find a place of focus, somewhere i can influence others, and let others influence me. i need to mature so much more, we need to think about our future somehow. of course as a youth, i want to enjoy myself. but besides enjoyment, we ought to know where we might stand one day. it may be your dream, your vision. what's yours?

i want to see myself influencing others, climbing up the corporate ladder or even having my own business. have a great gf, even marrying to be my wife and have a shelter. its not only the big picture, u see i have pretty much imagined everything.

i want to be a generous person, i want to influence. and of course, i might even find my love haha.

hi all, its been long! so many things happened, so many colourful places ive seen.

recently opportunity came knocking on my door; thank God for that! im in my school's online stock trading competition. most profits wins! and 1st prize is $800.

finally after all my self study and research, i can put to test what ive understand so far. i hope to gain an experience!

Merry Christmas! out in town till midnight 2am. had a nice dinner and cab to my friend's hse to stay over.. $12 for a short trip~~~~

on christmas day, half the stretch of orchard road was closed for a concert. therefore we can scramble walk across the street and not get into accident ^^ so everyone took advantage of it and took many pictures including me

Driving Lesson 8

This morning I had my driving lesson. I wasn't very clear in my mind, and made a dozen of mistakes. And with an empty mind in the morning, I kept speeding, and stopped in the Yellow Box which I could have failed on the spot if it's the actual test. I almost bang a cyclist on the side road as I made unclear decisions to stop and slow down. Still, overtaking is my worst weakness. But from my mistake, I learnt that I should slow down if I approach any road users at the side, and give ample clearance.

今日の朝、運転第八かの練習をするんだ。でも、今まで、追いつくをできません。なんか、怖いと想いから～　其れは、今日朝は、頭がよくない、スピード違反を出来ますた。T.T　まだ覚ますから、事故もちょっとにあったんだ、自転車をするんの人が僕の左側を見えったんだでも僕は落とすないんです。わアア、誰は運転の助言が言いますか？？

うん、それから、次のコースは行きます。興奮にまちますよ。来年の一月六日に始めます。

今週は、学校のテストもある。二日後は学期が終わりますよ！３週ぐらいの休みはある。うれしい～

学校は疲れからです。でも、休み後はもう３のテスト残るだよ＝（　テストは本当に難しいよ。

今日の野球トーナメントはいいでしょよ。野ぶるさんのピッチングはすばらしい！９球を三振させる。僕の手は野球をあった、痛い！でも今大丈夫、ちょっと痛いよ。

Went to Takashimaya with my mother today and its......................!

First time noticing the tradition of having mooncakes when its Mid Autumn.. And I only realise today that Japanese people celebrate this season too~ its expensive, a small piece like this green tea flavoured costs $3, but its super delicious. they sealed the packaging so tight that its still as nice as a freshly baked one
And I finally got myself an earpiece!!! So happy!!! finally I can listen to music and play guitar along!

I am so, so, so tired. I've been busy, busy, busy for countless weekends(but my weekdays are very, duper slack, almost everyday at home). But the weekends are enough to squeeze all my brain power or juice or whatever out T.T

Today, I felt great. Morning was Cell Group meeting, same, I lead Praise and Worship. Today, another breakthrough in worship. Wasnt easy, but, God came. ^^
So, preaching and ministry was easily engaged.

Afterwards rushed home to take my stuffs to baseball training. I am soooooooooooo happy. I scored a run, and another base hit. I thought I could not do it. But I did! And what make me think that I improved was that, I actually hit a pitch by Sakamoto. Banzai! LOL. Japanese pitchers are good.. To think that I hit one. But of course he is not the only one, there are even better pitchers, but! Nonetheless it was a great achievement!

好累好累. 已经没休了好多天, 尤其是周末，每个周末都有教会，教会小组和棒球练习。累得我快要死了！

今天觉得自己有点厉害叶~~~~哈哈，因为，我今天打了两个一垒打！而且，第二个一垒打是打中了坂本逹志的投球。他是日本人，所以我觉得我还不错~~~~因为，日本的投球手是不错的哦！哈哈。酷吧~~

それ事は、２年前に日本語を学ぶは、僕の日常生活の会話が混乱しますった～　混乱の大部分は中国語漢字と日本語の漢字の話し振りちょっと同じから。

Hi its been long~ Actually I do have comments on the PM's rally speech, not a lot. But just a few.
Mr Lee brought up a very important point, which is to conserve racial harmony among Singapore. And I too agree on his stand that without racial and religious harmony, Singapore could have never come to 50 years of development.

In importance, as a christian myself with (definitely) some values placed in me, I first of all thank God for a religion, racial harmonious country. Without this, Christians can never have services freely, Muslims cannot pray freely, Buddism, Taoism and Hindism will not be able to practice their rituals.

I really thank God for the church I'm in. Because I believe what the church is doing did not oppose what PM pointed out, but instead trying to fall parallel to Mr Lee's point of view. That is to be the positive force in our fast changing, fast paced society. That is the Cultural Mandate that all of us in City Harvest has been practicing. Engaging Family, Religion, Business, Education, Government, Arts/Entertainment and Mass Media.

Along with other racial, religion groups, Singapore has done numerous things that uses our Religion to be a positive force, to care for the society. Just recently between the Muslims and Christians, Mosques and Churches, I think they did a blood donation drive?(alright what they did dont matter here) This is definitely a + in our society. Giving back to society; religion always tell us to be good. Buddist Association doing, hosting charity shows.(please do not think about MingYi 法师, this is a totally different issue from what being contributive to society is)

Lastly, key to balance is having a distant in what religion does. Which is a major weakness in our mutli racial/religious country. Over pushing your limits can be very hurting to another race. Do not enforce your "laws" and "values" into someone else who takes on a different belief from you.

haha.... new product off the shelves of 7-11. its nice, simple and cheap, only $1.50 for one(ok i know you can buy 6 of these in our local bakery shops in the market for $3, like those coconut or red bean ones). can buy one to eat while walking on the way to the train station in the morning. sometimes i dont eat cause i always wake up late for school.

saw that liverpool logo? guess it will be football fever for liverpool fans. because liverpool is coming to singapore. alright not really soccer fan just watch for the fun of it...... but its cool to see these stuffs happening around.

what reliefs me to confirm that it definitely will open soon is that the infrastructure now finally comes into shape.

well anyway, i think this map of the train line is stolen from the SMRT draft of the future map or something. rest of the lines are either under construction or planning. but looks so cool haha.

Well, today was really an INTERESTING day. I was feeling really empty and lifeless the whole day since school till evening. Had a jamming session today but didnt enjoyed it. The studio guitar was bad, doesnt stay in tune at all. Lousy drums, jack wires with lotsa feedback.... Cannot take it.

So the jamming session did not relief me of my boredom. I felt so bored, so empty and blank inside. And it seems as though something is troubling me. So many things came through my mind.. And then, I know God has something for me. Although troubled, but I know on the other hand, God is for me.

So to relief my vexed mind, I decided to alight at City Hall station. As I love the scenic view of the city and downtown, I walked towards Bugis. And was roaming around aimlessly.. Just looking around at people, the culture and the life(as though I'mma walking camera). Then, I went to the gaming centre to try and find some games to play, hoping the DUPER noisy environment might help me.

Finished my games, took the escalator up back and decided to roam one more round in Bugis before heading home. And then JUST WHEN I reached Level 1, a puzzled looking lady approached me.(The interesting, and exciting part today)

She wants to know where is the train station, with my empty, unclear mind, I even doubt myself(where/what train station?). And then after 5 seconds I went, "Oh.. Train station huh.." Was confused by her english too(she asked torain sutasion). And so I said I will bring you there. Along the way, I asked if she was Japanese(she sounded/look like one), noped she wasnt. She's a Korean. And so talk about Singapore and as I've been to Korea, told her my experiences too..

Then as we reach Bugis station, help paid for her fare to the airport and unknowningly........ I even bothered to accompany her to the airport(I really must be overwhemled by all the troubles in my mind already). But well, never mind. During the ride to the airport after changing train, got to talk more. Her name was NaYoung. And got each other's mail. Helped her in the airport and saw her off at the departure hall, wondering if we ever meet again......

going back home thinking"what if I didnt feel troubled today, went straight home and didnt even bother to want to have some time alone in Bugis.. I wouldnt have met and help her. it will be somebody else." and I thought,"it must be God =) "

Im looking forward to her email.

today was an exciting day. my topic today was proof and evidence. and i chose to talk about revelations. a daring topic indeed for someone to raise, because i was about to prove how chinese writings prove the bible is true!

word for boat in chinese is made up of a boat 舟 + number8 八 and a mouth 口= 船

this shows 8 people in a ark. Read the chapter in the bible above and there are 8 people.

The word trouble in chinese is 困.

-Genesis 3..

-trouble came when Adam and Eve disobeyed God.
the other frame of the word 困(kun) is made up of an enclosure as suppose to be the garden of Eden, and a word tree inside the enclosure.

-Adam and Eve hid in shame inside the garden as they know they sinned and dare not face God.

I found some cheaper guitars! They're cheap because,

これはトカイのレスポル。。　安いの理由はbodyはBasswoodです！！でも本当に安い、ＳＧＤ＄１５００にあるから。This is a Tokai Les Paul. But because its made of basswood!! (Kind of put me off.. mahagony with maple top should be what makes a Les Paul LES PAUL!!) But its really cheap especially its from Japan, with $1500 I can get one.

i broke my fingernail yesterday. it broke into half and blood gushed out and dripped all over. it was caught between the bus seat level.

as soon as my finger got caught in between, i pulled out my finger as i was in like a very numb pain. this sucks. but it caught my finger in between and here i go- my fingernail broke and i bled badly.

i was in such a sharp pain yet numb pulsing pain, i could cry(but of cause i didnt). the camp's i/cs rushed me to the doctor. in the midst of all that was happening, i wasnt afraid something else might happen.

because from the moment i realised im bleeding, i had only one thought in mind," am i able to play my guitar soon or even again?" (i was afraid my finger joint could be fractured, thank God the other moment i knew im fine. the bleeding stopped rather quickly)

nothingto blame, not even myself cus it was an accident. but, i want to pick up my guitar and play.

its really really a dissapointment. a big one, i did not make it through the 2nd audition at the black box. really; so sad. where i thought my dreams just got started, visualizing myself accepted and performing live. but; it all ends here.

BUT i really really really thank God for this opportunity, to be part of the 15% that got in. do u know how amazing i think i am already for me? about 300 people, 50 of us at the 2nd round. and maybe half of the 50 are selected. for God, im proud to be at least in the 15%. though i didnt make it, i will not give up. it ends at the black box, but not in the near future. it just got started.

most importantly, thank God for the friends i have made, due to these, i can expand my musical horizon, i knew more people who plays music instrument.

lastly; from the bottom of my heart, i love you guys amel, adrian and danial. you guys are the best band i ever work with. amel- such a good vocal, adrian- what a good guitarist, and danial the best pianist i ever worked with. youre grade 8 come on!

without you guys; i would have never been able to unleash what i thought i could not. because of you guys, i enjoyed myself, though we're together only for a short 4 days, i will always remember this part of my life. its just so amazing. thank God

hey! its been a LONG time since i posted. school started, it was great! so many things happening.

main highlight, i got in the first round audition in Replug! its RP's acoustic band. they performed during liven loaded ep 5. we play all acoustic music. haha! the first round's audition, i did not prepare any songs. all i did was i went in the room said a smiley high and played ju hua tai by jay chou. =.=" and so the judge asked me to play a F major chord so i was like ok...... haha and then following a request to play a song in rhythm. so beautiful girls rang. and with these crap i got in ! hooray!

received email to attend 2nd audition briefing and so happily went on monday. and the audition is on this friday!! we were mix and group into a band. so excited!! judging criteria will be upon us as performers! so strict this time!!! haha but its exciting and fun for the whole of these few weeks.

totally enjoyed being alone at home the whole day. from my previous post, i woke up at 430am.. so from 6am i watched drama online. afterwards went to buy coffee and newspaper, practice and play guitar for like 5 hours?? haha around 2 plus i watched paul blurt the mall cop hahahaha, such a funny movie.

hmm..... went on watch drama play guitar, sounds like a mundane day.. but, i have been going out!!! finally can stay at home and rest.

its 5:04am now, and im awake. woke up at 430am, bathe and went cheers to buy the chicken pie to eat. and im well now, just feeling a little giddy when i walked to the petrol station. well its morning and it feels great. hells only come when the sun is out haha cause singapore its so warm. but i sitll enjoy the mornings of everyday, just like when i was in secondary school. walking to the mrt in the early mornings was very enjoyable to me. =D

not feeling good today!!! arg.. =(

i woke up to have a very tight headache and lower back pains or strains, dont know how to describe. and didnt realise i was having a fever. i couldnt take it and so went to the clinic.

couldnt concentrate with too much things are revolving around me, i was crossing the car park and did not realise a car was coming in. hmm so i guess im not very well. and i just feel numb all over my body, no strength to even grasp my own hand.

so i was at the clinic and its break time, 130pm, waited outside cause i was feeling terribly sick. so the doctor finally came and was the 1st one. 38.3 degrees; quite bad. he explained should i ever feel or am seeing things blur, i have to be rushed to the hospital. he said what brain membrane thingy, a very long greekish name. he says very dangerous, can die. 0.o

well its 6pm now slept about 3 hours already, feel better but still.. ahah im alright i guess

Respect My Pride

if you're not up to it, dont say it. keep all the comments to yourself, and no body would know. as an upcoming guitarist right now, i have my stand, i have my pride.

i am very angry about this particular matter, because its about my pride in playing. simply because of "observing" others, and maybe being the "older" one in whatever sense/terms you're are standing on, you still do not have the right to "lecture". readers realised, i use a lot of "this". yes, that is how the situation was.

i am still very strong about myself and believe in my point that i CAN NOT accept those comments. those comments were simply hurting and NOT constructive at all. its just "teaching" me about what you "know" through what you "observed". all you have said is but rubbish to my ears. before trying to comment and also "teach", please do judge along you own lines before you say.

all the while, you may still not trying to be in my shoes. simply, you are just RELATING me to PROFESSIONALS about my teaching, sorry but it is so so wrong because you "taught" the wrong things at the wrong time with the wrong way and, with the wrong words. everything was so WRONG. and especially, telling me through msn these things?! its SO WRONG! yes examples can be seen through this People and encouraging me to see, learn and follow their ways. BUT, it is simply WRONG to relate me to these People through an one time observation. then, this is not encouraging or advising but rather lecturing me. yes, as if i was wrong and i feel offended. read my title

and considering your point, i understand that you are trying to advise me what to do. but, its just not acceptable to be told like that. really, consider rephrasing how you say things to people. thats the conclusion. because what you said to me, is what it meant to me; posted on this entry.

(im not picking a fight here, i am just angry and i know misunderstanding can be cleared up, and think, things cant be said through msn, its just hard especially with poor phrasing of words.)

recently im fixing a model kit, this would be the 2nd one i buy, cause they're not cheap! one costs average about $30 to $70. i had a rally evo for the previous one, this time i bought an initial d series model.

now at least i am done with the engine part! its irritating especially those very very tiny parts, i break them often and its real irritating.. i will have to find a way to fix them back, and the tiny parts aint easy to fix.. cus its so tiny, that it often slips off ur hand or just disconnect from that part u want it to be at.

this is the engine yay!really had so much fun fixing this stuff. i can just fix it in one day, but the outcome will be very ugly cause its a tedious thing to do. and once ur concentration is lacking, u will destroy everything. so i only fix it when im free, and after about 1 to 2 hours i stop and continue the next time.

the beauty of God is unexplainable in every part of my daily life~
especially the amazing churchwide bible study on Making Marriage Work 2 or 3 years ago, i saw how wonderfully God has put 2 people together. during one of the service we were to awkwardly tell your neighbours to "try different sex positions" haha!! but after all these, i saw that love is such a beautiful thing. just as God love us, i learnt how to express and share the love God has for us towards the people around me.

its so exciting. its 3am now and i be going to the airport in about 1 and 1/2 hours time. flight is 8am. be reaching there about 320pm. so so excited to be able to go to the world largest church, 850 000 ppl, approx 1 million member! in the heart of Seoul, Yeouido. its korea's financial district, much like our raffles place, but definity better. like what u see on tv or photos of tokyo.

Yeouido Full Gospel Church is not just a church, its living out Christ's name! if u see wikipedia, the church was mentioned inside! in seoul's article, yeouido's article and in the church's own article which links you back to korea's article! other thn talking the talk, this church lives out Christ's name; having hospitals, newspaper printing company, schools and orphanages! one day CHC is going to be like that too! it is indeed Kristos Kai Cosmos-Christ in Culture

today, went over to orchard to support fengheng and adel in their performances. so along the way, i went kinokuniya to buy a japanese story book! finally, i can study and read more. the title is" kon ya ha nemu re nai" or i cant slp tonight haha.
and today.. step into Jim Perrie shop at heeren late at 10pm. fashion stylist Jim Leong was there, so he came forward and help me style my image. hahaha.... and free of charge, not always got this chance ok. =D so bought from him a pants and shirt. hmm.. so he say help me so much cus he help me out and talk to a few of us about fashion for nearly 45mins! hahaha so.. i have to help him. listen guys, change your image. go jim perrie shop at heeren! trust me its worth your $$$.

wow 5 days, im blown away. did not take lots of pictures. no words can describe the whole thing. it was indeed 10x bigger then CHC's yearly youth Emerge conference. i've been out whole day, 730am till 12am. then again the next day for 5 days.

the atmosphere built up thru each day, im awed by what God is doing in Asia. spiritual talking aside, you can see a spirit of unity in the body of Christ in Asia. People from all over the world, this conference was organised specially to Asia, but people from North and South America, Europe, Middle East and Africa came too. China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Phillipines Thailand, Burma, North Borneo, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia.

On top of CHC's own congregation of 24k, total foreign delegates that came were about 10 to 20k. Expo was flooded! It was just amazing.

In the 5 days, i've been serving. I was in charge of one the electives workshops, helping the speakers to oversee. it was great, never in my life i had taken such great responsibility to be part to help make sure the conference runs smoothly. I am proud to be part of it! I've learnt a lot. I've learnt to open myself up more, interacting with people. Be more confident, be patient.

Hahaha! during the last night liu gen hong and JJ Lin came. i got his latest CD with his signature!!! =D

I am looking forward to Asia Conference 2010!

hello! i bought a new guitar during my holidays. and went sentosa with haruka-san last saturday just before service. today is his final day in singapore, he's going back hokkaido. he is a fun person must say. hope he comes singapore again. and one more thing,

hi guys.. jus a little update of my life..
i had left the cosy, busy and happening town of haig rd, and shifted temporarily to a new town, at hougang ave 6. which is near the buangkok mrt.

this new town i live in is not like haig rd. its kinda quiet. nt alot of ppl in the mrt station during peak hours, whereas at the paya lebar mrt ppl squeeze each other that if a fat one comes, u cant breathe. ok i mean, u get what i mean, paya lebar is a busy place.

over a buangkok they has lots of plain fields, so big u can build about 4 singapore indoor stadiums.
ok im lonely here. no friends. but never mind!!! hahaha. =)

the outstanding traffic lights in the night that shines...

so wonderful.. I miss the moments where I go home after work late at night...

or the times when I am out with my friends late at night...

it will come again...

yosh! haha me back after 2 wks? ok heres it. i guess to my the most impt thing of this year is building relationships. which i think i lack of, im in need of kami-sama. taktsukete onegaishimasu! its nt only impt to help u in ur walk in life, but also in times of need.

alrite go on, what it means? it simply means VISION! haha why? u sure will think lik hey whats the link here man. alrite lets see, firstly what is one thing u will meet wif everyday?"i knw there are 1001 things ppl can say everyday life sure must haf, but lets say 1 here ok?"
the thing is called "choice". yes choice, u choose when u wake up, u chose to wake up. u chose to brush ur teeth, u chose to change ur clothes and go to sch. no body in this world FORCE u to do anything. ppl may say the law and sch rules and crap FORCED us to go their direction. actually no. we cant use anything else to explain but God. God gave us the 10 commandments. which is actually law! haha if i explain the 10 cmmdt in details i guess it will take 3 post. alrite if u study the bible it actually means DO NOT BREAK THE LAW!"aight, whatever".

so now what the hell ure toking bout man? sure u all are thinking rite? so tats the reason why i mentioned God there. God created the laws such that ppl focus on the right path to the vision God has before we were even born!!!! now think, u actually haf a choice rite? example, if u break the sch rules u shall face the consequences. rite? unless the rule is plotted wif motive, ppl will sure protest, otherwise what for they protest? here pls be mature, dn come tell me say ppl protest cus of hair and socks and stuff. i mean ya i dn lik it too. but the law/rule is dead, humans are real!

so what are friends for? friends are here to help gif u gd influence. we cant explain gd and bad here, but its alr defined in this very world, this very society we live in what is gd and what is bad. one life, why live a life of depression, anger and lik a fugitive? live openly! live the enjoyable way! no one wanted a lif of being a drug addict! they jus din choose the rite way. friends are here to help u walk on the rite track of life.

hii ppl.. haven been posting for ages. while many many things happened in my everyday life. all comes to one thing, determination. look, how amazing when u look back to the days when ure jus an innocent 6 to 8 year old kid, entering into 12 to 14 years old, u start to look into ur life, realising and begins exploring things u wish to knw back thn. so so magical. thn u realise life isnt the way u wanted to be all along, becus there are many trials, problems u will haf to face. and none the less, fear. fearing of failure.

the 1st time u fell off ur bike when ure 5 years old, bet u din even think of if ure gonna fall. as a 5 year old, what u thought was others can cycle, so can i, easily by jus mounting on to ur bike and pedal. if u were to learn to cycle now, as a 16, 17 or 20 yr old, u probably think of the pain ure gonna bear when you fall.

as of now, we are all trying to find the perfect life we wanted to haf, but in reality, theres no perfect life, thers only excellence. living wif a life of excellence, wher u exceed the standard tat is set on u, only will u be successful in life, becus you are nt doing 2km of running jus becus u are required to run at least 2km, but u knw u are running 4, 5 km ahead of others so that u haf much more time to do more things.

living a life of excellence isnt easy, it requires a lot of everday trainings. training yourself to be a better you each hour, each minute, each second. its hard to hold on to the determination u first found, but hey! im nt trying to preach here. but just as a testimony, only through God u will pull through the most difficult times. it says in Proverbs 4:23 "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." thn 25 to 26" Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you" do not waver, always walk towards the visions and dreams u had, ur desires what to be in life and 26 " Mark out a straight path for your feet, stay on the safe path" do up a plan towards ur visions, depend on God for the anoiting of wisdom, only thn you be ensured you are indeed in the safe path. a path that God had for u, for God has placed a vision in every individual, to fufill what he has for you.
